Essential Oil First Aid and Travel Kits

Essential Oil First Aid and Travel Kits
I mentioned I was making little travel aromatherapy kits last month in my newsletter about traveling to Florida.  People have been interested and asking for more specifics, so I thought I’d send some pics and prices. It’s been fun collecting little waterproof cushioned bags and experimenting with what works.  I got this great little grapefruit bag for $8.00 and I’ve been using it to carry around the oils I mentioned last week for grief,
.
Then I got this little purple polka dot bag specifically made for essential oils from Amazon for $13.00.
I’m making a bag for travel/have-in-the-house for a client. The bottles are 10ml. She wants Peppermint $8 (for headaches, nausea, sleepiness and freshening a room.), Lavender  $12 (for small cuts, scratches and burns, relaxation, headache, sleeplessness and restlessness.), Eucalyptus $7 (for congestion and germ fighting) Grapefruit $7 (for refreshing, waking up, fighting off sadness and making a room smell delicious.)  And Green Mandarin $10.(another uplifting citrus great for improving mood, soothing skin and blends nicely with the others.)
She is getting pure essential oils so they are really concentrated she can diffuse them or smell them right from the bottle.  She can drip a drop on a pillow or tissue or on a washcloth that she tosses in the bottom of the shower.
There are so many ways to use pure essential oils!
I’m also including a small bottle of a carrier oil (Jojoba is my favorite. It is a wax, so it doesn’t go rancid, doesn’t stain and doesn’t have an odor.) Perfect to rub some oils into your temples or a sore back or feet.  2oz for $7 She can put a bit of the oil in her palm or a little bowl and then add whatever variety of these essential oils suits her mood and use it to give herself or someone else a massage.  The total for this kit, including the case, the essential oils and the carrier oil is $64. The prices vary depending on the oils you get.  (Oils like Frankincense and Rose cost more; the citrus oils are generally less expensive.)  All of them are wonderful and a little goes a LONG way.
Below is a fun little kit that a client got for an upcoming trip. She chose to have Rosewater in a spray $10  (great for skin hydration, and feeling refreshed and connected), and then a roll-on $10 for headaches, nausea and general uplifting made up of Frankincense, Green Mandarin, and Grapefruit in a base of Jojoba oil. (It smelled amazing!)  This blue case has little elastics to hold the essential oils so they don’t bang around. (She has some oils and roll-ons at home that she’ll add to the kit, too.) This blue bag is padded and was $11 on amazon.
You could put any essential oils or blends in your kit.  Some hold roll-ons and some do not.  If you’d like me to make you up a kit, just send me an email,/text or give me a call.
You can use any of the oils listed above or pick different ones. I have enough empty bottles to make 4-5 more kits so let me know if you’d like one.
Best to you!
