I hope things are going well in your world.
We came back from our short trip to Florida and the trees were still waiting to bloom. Some buds got shocked by some sudden cold nights after the tempting warmth. We’ll see what kind of flowers we get on the peach tree this year. But this pear tree still looks ready to go.
There is a boggling coordination in spring between the flowers, their pollinators and the birds and frogs that depend upon those flowers and bugs to explode just in time for them to grow and feed their young.
Here’s to hoping it all unfolds to an abundance of fruit and baby birds and happy frogs and toads in the coming months.
