I promised an update when and if my favorite House Wren reappeared. It’s been so many weeks and I’ve heard them singing, but not as much as usual. The last two years they have been on our back deck, but that bird house fell apart and I didn’t put it back up there because we couldn’t use out deck much and it really seemed to stress them out when we grilled!
This week I finally saw her face poking out of this new house I put up in my beautiful hedge of viburnum. I’ve heard him singing more often, too. I didn’t wait around to get a picture of her face because I didn’t want to scare her.
I’m so happy to hear the crazy boisterous song of the House Wren again this spring
