They are such a simple, accessible, safe and affordable way to really change up your mood. Sometimes we think we are stuck in an attitude, mood or a mindset and we just continue feeling miserable because we can’t imagine another way. Or we feel like we can’t muster the energy to shift. Sometimes we don’t have the time to journal or cry like we need to because we are busy and life is happening.
Essential oils to the rescue!

It is so simple. You just open a bottle and smell it.
Scent goes right to the amygdala of the brain. Changes and shifts happen in the brain so quickly – sometimes it is even before we register the smell!

Everyone should have some Lavender, Peppermint and a couple of Citrus (Orange/Lemon/Lime/Bergamot or Grapefruit) oil handy.
I have experienced and seen huge mood shifts using Bergamot for anxiety and panic (It has been incredible in a few births I have attended, lately.) And Lavender for shifting an anxious frenzied mood to a calmer and more peaceful state.
