I’ve been enjoying the smell of my lilacs in the warm sun this week. Things are so busy with work, family, kids in sports (it feels like we’re out every night!) and working in my business that I can feel like spring is passing too quickly.
I took a few minutes last week and drove around the abandoned NMH prep school campus near my house and admired the gorgeous blooming trees.

I found a Magnolia!
It was EPIC. Totally covered in blossoms and bright green leaves. My usual Magnolia had been struck by the frost earlier this year and its petals were all dead and brown when I went to visit it a few weeks ago. I was thrilled to find this magnificent tree in a little valley that must have been protected from that earlier frost!
