The peach trees around here got hit hard by a cold frost last month so there are only a few blooms on my peach this spring. But they are so beautiful. That pink! Those stamens covered in pollen – calling to the insects!
I had to lean way off the deck to get this photo but I’m glad I did.
As I write this, a Wood Thrush is singing in the bottom of the yard. It is dusk, cold and rainy, but I opened the window to hear his lovely song. So glad to have that song again, reminding me that night will fall soon.
I hope your flowers are blooming and your windows are open for this wet chilly season where transformation happens so fast!
Best,
Katherine
